I always have a hard time deciding when it's a good time to start thinking about Halloween. Or more accurately, deciding when you guys probably start thinking about Halloween. There's a pretty big holiday gap after the Fourth of July... I've already started working on a few Halloween pieces, but when should I start offering them for sale? In the past I've offered them as early as July. But is that way too early? Are people still totally in summer mode and don't even want to start seeing ghouls and goblins out and about until Fall actually starts?
I need some help! I put together a little blog poll. I hope you guys will help me out let me know what you think...honestly. :)

Hi Crystal,
it's surely not before at least mid August for me that I start to think about Fall and Halloween, so I voted for September first. Hope that helps you!

Are you kidding me?! Come on over and visit and you'll see how much of a Halloween mood I've been in!!
Usually by this time, it's all about the Fall and Halloween. Then by Fall, I'm already watching Christmas movies and making stuff for that!
Don't wait for how others feel, go with how YOU feel. Or as I always call it, "being lead by the spirit."

The kids have to be heading to school for me to start feeling it: mid-August, when we're out school shopping and there is a snap in the air. We talk about Halloween while we're driving to do those errands. It gets the kids distracted from their dreaded end of summer bluesl ;)
I am also looking at all the stuff I've got in the "Halloween" corner and thinking I should get a jump on it.
Absolutely not. If you don't count August it's only two months away!!!
I do Halloween ALL the time. Sold 3 pieces at my last show which was in June. I don't think it is ever too early.

I'm working on Xmas right now and plan to start Halloween mid August with the hopes of posting the first part of September. We will see if it all goes according to my grand master plan!
