New Website!

I have a new website!  Sort of...

Every couple of years I get severe ants in my pants to give my website an overhaul.  Over time I get bad at updating it, keeping it fresh and not letting it get stale.  Real bad.  Soooo, one of my New Years resolutions was to update my website....  It was last year's New Years resolution, lol.

Well...a year later, I did it and my new and improved website looks very similar to the old one and has many of the same features, but has more helpful information, more interesting information (like the press page) and most important...new photos!

The outdated for sale page turned into the gallery section and I have tons of new photos of my work in almost every category, and photos of other inspiring things as well.  Photos are the most fun!

I would LOVE to know what you think about my updated website!!  Is it pretty?  Am I missing anything?  Is something confusing or hard to find?  Please comment and let me know what you think!  :)

Hi Crystal:

Very pretty and easy to use...I especially like the inspiration page.

I just wanted to tell you that the "Adorable Owl" I recently received is so so adorable!

Yeah, do that. Steady updates relatively contribute more in generating traffic than major redesign every couple of years. There is no hard rule as to how often though. It is advisable only when your site is going a bit outdated or isn’t compatible with your browser and other varying factors. Your new site is efficient in my assessment, and the visuals are in harmony with each other! Redesign – you shall resist! :]

I like the look of your new website, Crystal! The vibrant colors are apt for the items you sell. The colors you chose are definitely easy on the eyes too. And your crafts are very unique and wonderful. Keep updating your website so it’ll keep running smoothly and we get to see more of your new stuff. =)

Thank you so much everyone for the great comments! I'm glad it looks like I'm doing something right! I'll try to update the website as much as I can...mostly in the gallery section and of course when special events and shows arise. Thank you so much!! :)

The blog in question is named "Vintage By Crystal," and the blog showcases the author's love of vintage miniature models of animals for decoration. This specific page is about how the author has decided to redecorate the page and give it an upgrade so the site looks neater. The author also asks for opinions regarding the changes on the page.

Love the webpage. It is really easy to use and the layout really suits you. I think I will be incorporating some of these ideas in my website in the next few months. My husband will be assisting me in making it happen as he is the software engineer and I am still learning. Thank you for sharing this.
