Personal treasures transfixed in cotton...

This past year, one of my wonderful patrons, Kim, approached me about creating a series of spun cotton characters using little trinkets from her past.  These items were small objects, both Christmas oriented and not, like little dolls and pieces of costume jewelry, that were being neglected in drawers and boxes.  She thought they deserved a second life as treasures incorporated with cotton.  She gave them as gifts to her loved ones and boy were they a hit!  I really loved the way they turned out and wanted to share them with you all (with Kim's permission of course).  Take a look!  And if it sparks an idea in you, I'm happy to work with items you treasure to create something similar.  :)

Every single treasure is so adorably transformed. They would not be easy to give away, much less, choose who receives each work of sweetness! You are very inspiring, Crystal.
