Sniff Sniff....Goodbye Apartment...

It's a little bittersweet. Ben and I have lived in this pretty apartment for 6 pleasant years. Many memories were made here, but now it's time to move on and we're ready. Moving day is tomorrow! :)

One of the most recent new memories...our little niece. I hope she comes to visit! :)

Spring is almost officially here. The daffodils are in full bloom. The birds are singing outside of my window. And the thoughts of new beginnings are all around. Speaking of new beginnings, this collection of Easter and Spring characters are my last until next year. A little sad because I was able to make them for an elongated period of time this year with Easter being so late. But still, I am very happy to offer these guys up and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I have! :)

As usual, blog readers get first dibs on my new spun cotton one-of-kind figures. Click on photos to enlarge. If you see something(s) you love, just email me at vintagebycrystal@yahoo.com and I'll let you know if they're still available. First come first served! I'll update item statuses in this post as often as I can to make it easier for you to know what's available. Items often get scooped up quickly, so make your selection as swiftly as you can, you can always add available pieces to your order later. Also feel free to include second choices if your first choice is unavailable, but make sure you label them "second choice".

Shipping is $3.50 for one item and $1 per additional item up to $6.50, then additional pieces are free. All paid orders will ship out immediately and will probably reach you with time to spare before Easter. Last Easter Update Annoucement!

See my Easter creations on Martha Stewart this Sunday!

Martha Stewart is airing her much anticipated "Eggcellent" Easter Special this Sunday at 7pm EST on the Hallmark Channel and if you watch, you just might catch a glimpse of my spun cotton cuties and my mom's needle felted friends on TV!

A little while ago, a bunch of our characters took a trip down to NYC to shoot a segment for the special. Once they came back, they kept their little paper lips sealed and didn't really tell me much about what happened when they were there. So I guess we'll have to wait and see. They've all found new homes, most with you guys! Watch the show on Sunday to see if your new bunny or chick will appear in an Easter Egg or two. Can't wait to see! I hope you'll all be watching too! :)

Hints of Spring are finally here in Boston. It's sunny, supposedly warm outside and I have seen the snowdrops and crocuses. Pretty soon to be followed by tulips and daffodils. Before we know it, it will be time to plant the garden! I guess this has been on my mind a lot lately, because I've made up a bunch of characters that looked as though they were freshly plucked straight from the garden. Or perhaps they were doing some plucking of their own. Enjoy!
