A fine day to sled...

 This past Sunday it was nippy outside, but that didn't stop us from breaking out the sleds and trying our luck down the hills in the fields behind my parent's house. 

My sister Suzy and Ben in tandem...  That's my mom's studio in the back ground on the right.

Olive LOVES sledding.  She had yet to fly down a hill...but when she does for the first time, I have an hunch that she'll be giddy all the way!

Our sweet nieces joined the fun too...

I always look forward to spring...but winter is fun too.  :)

Sweet Paul Makerie!

We are extremely honored to have been asked to teach a workshop this year for the Sweet Paul Makerie in Philly.  It's been a while since I've attended an art retreat such as this and Ben and I are both really excited!  

If you're unfamiliar with Sweet Paul magazine, you HAVE to check it out!  It's a gorgeous and inspiring lifestyle magazine and just one peek and you'll know how beautiful and amazing this event will be!  It's taking place at Terrain and Anthropologie headquarters (hello...two of the ultimate inspiration gurus!) and will be infused with their look and feel.  It will be like stepping into the Sweet Paul magazine, an Anthropologie catalog shoot, and Terrain's website - all at the same time.  

I am giddy with excitement to see all the fabulous events, speakers and activities they've put together.  Probably best of all is the creative community that connects like minds together...I am very much in need of a dose of that!

Since the theme of V-Day is "Love" I always like reflecting on the things that I love so much in this world.  This time last year we were just starting to get acquainted with an incredibly precious tiny person who filled our hearts with an unimaginable feeling that we have never felt before.  And in my opinion, there's no other that compares.  So I wanted to let you know that when I created these darling treasures, my thoughts and inspiration came from my sweet little Olive. :-)

As usual, this blog sale offers first dibs on our new spun cotton one-of-kind figures. If you see something(s) you love, just email us at crystalandben@vintagebycrystal.com and we'll let you know if they're still available. First come first served! we'll update item status in this post as often as we can to make it easier for you to know what's available. Shipping is $3.50 for one item and $1 per additional item up to $6.50, then additional pieces are free.  All paid orders will ship out immediately via first class mail and should arrive within a few days.  If you prefer 1-3 day priority shipping, please let us know (there will be an additional $3 charge).  We send Paypal invoices via email unless you specify that you'd rather pay via check.
