Surprise! An Easter Give Away!

I just found these little guys camouflaged on a supply shelf, all by themselves. When my mom and I were unpacking the box sent back to me from the folks at Martha, this one got put in a different spot than all the others and was forgotten about. After the last big update of each season, I do a studio cleanup (thank you all so much for another great Easter season!!) and yesterday as I was organizing, I spotted them in their lonesome.

So what to do I do with them?? I figure, why not just give them away? Sooo...if you'd like this sweet duo for Easter this year, all you have to do is leave me a comment on this blog post. I'd love to hear a neat story or some of the reasons you love spring! Next Tuesday, April 3rd, I'll choose a winner at random and they'll be on they're way to their new home! Folks out of the country can win too...they just may not arrive in time for Easter...but big deal! They're not just celebrating Easter, but the whole season of spring as well!

Good luck! :)

so sweet!! I love spring for the colors sprouting up, the buds on the trees and the sunshine after the gloomy winter. Though here in eastern washington spring is holding back!!!

I would love to have them. We just moved into our new home and they would be a sweet remembrance not only of Easter but that the two of us finally got our home in a beautiful country habitat. I am hoping they come live with us.

I love all of the Spring flowers. Our Winter was incredibly mild (not one flake of snow - BOO!) so the trees and flowers are about six weeks ahead of schedule. The tulips should be blooming now, but they are long gone. Now the Dogwoods are in bloom and they are heavenly!

I love all of your creations and also love spring although it is mostly a memory for me because I live in Florida. No real winter and no real Spring or Fall either. I really miss my English springs where I would walk in Penn Woods and see the new bluebells and watch for pheasants. One of life's great joys, have a great week, Maureen

Of all the countless reasons why I love spring, I think seeing all of the beautiful color pop back into the world is one of my favorites! Sometimes I wish the flowers could be in bloom all year round, but then spring wouldn't be nearly as special! It also doesn't hurt that I have a spring-time birthday in April. Happy Easter!

...Dear Crystal.. My name is Sophie from Germany and I am so happy about that I found your blog months ago.. Your creations are so beautiful and heart warming..
My story why I love spring is about a childhood memory: on easter sunday my entire family always met at my grandparent's house. There was a flower garden in front of the house and all the spring flowers smelled so lovely in the warm spring-time air. Everything was full of joy and happiness for us children.
Few days ago my beloved grandma died, but the sun was shining and all the flowers around us were smelling. So, this placed me back into my childhoodmemories and showed me: my grandparents are still there.. This year we will celebrate Easter with our little families at my grandparent's house again..
Hope, this story was not too sad for spring..?
Thank you for sharing all your adorable work with all of us!
Happy and blessed Easter!

I welcome each spring reading
my favorite e.e.cummings' poem: spring is like a perhaps hand.... I follow the path into my garden where I anticipate the awakening of bluebells, tulips,
and forget-me-nots and I feel the magic of spring.
Many happy delights in your spring garden!!

I love spring because all the beautiful flowers bloom. Lilacs, peonies, tulips, etc... everywhere you turn there are beautiful sights and beautiful smells.

You sure have tucked some surprises away recently! My favorite part of spring is watching all the huge old trees that line both sides of our street suddenly POP out with their leaves. One day their is nothing and the next - the sky is a pale green and you know spring is coming.

I always open up my little cottage during Easter. I'm cleaning the house and open all the doors and windows and let the spring and sunshine in after a long cold winter in Sweden......happiness!
Usually the daffodils are in bloom and we're having coffee on the porch, what more can you ask for!?
Have a great weekend
greetings from Becky

I totally missed that I was supposed to tell a story about why I like Spring! Well, for me is because I was born in the Spring - today actually (March 31st). You know the saying - March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb? That has always been my mom's nickname for me - Carol Lamb! But why I really love Spring is because of seeing everything turn green again - especially living in Michigan and looking at mostly brown grass and trees for so many months!

Every Easter when I was a child I would get a new coloring book with a spring theme.I so loved coloring the pictures of ducks, chicks, bunnies, birds, flowers and eggs. Still love all those things, and I love spring.

Spring is ...everything NEW again! Fresh smells, happy colors and the promise of more in the birds singing.
The details one should notice for they are our gifts from GOD.
As are the people who make ART!

Hi Crystal,
Spring is the best! Everything is all fresh and renewed.I just think of flowers starting to bloom, birds in our birdhouses, all the hummingbirds are back (besides) the local ones, going outside to play in my garden, opening up all the windows to let the fresh air in,getting to wear brighter and lighter clothes etc.....
Best of all are all the chicks and bunnies everywhere!!

Spring to me is love and renewal. Dave and I will celebrate our 37th anniversary on the 7th of April. We grew up in upstate New York and have been together since we were 12. I would just love to win your Easter couple. A Blessed Easter to both of you.
