Wowsers what a week! The Martha Stewart American Made event was quite the whirlwind and very exciting all around. It was their first of hopefully many annual events and I'm very honored that I got to be a part of it. I brought along my friend Andrea to help me man my booth and we both were candidly snapped and then featured in the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday. Here's the article. I'll have more photos and stories about our adventures in NY this week a bit later....
And the fun doesn't stop in New York City! I'll bringing everyone (that is, the spun cotton everyone) to Schenectady NY this weekend for the Northeast Fine Craft Festival! It will be nice not having to condense everything into one large suitcase and taking the subway, and I'm looking forward to meeting more local collectors, which will be a first for me since moving back home. If you're in or near the Albany area, I hope you'll stop by and visit!
